The rooftop views of the Atlas Mountains are fine. Limited dining options were disappointing.

Our stay was wonderful, thoroughly enjoyed well prepared breakfasts.
A double room was well-appointed and huge with a mezzanine for the kids.

Couples, this is a hidden gem!
Our host Hicham was a lifesaver! He helped us navigate the bustling city, gave us a detailed map. Plus, breakfasts here were DIVINE, with fresh pastries and fruit every morning! The plunge pool was a refreshing retreat after long days exploring.
It wasn't exactly on the cheaper side, but totally worth it for the experience.

Simply no complaints, very relaxing stay. Wonderful hotel with everything immaculately clean throughout and a stunning and incredible location very close to everything. Savoury breakfast and good-sized, air-conditioned rooms. Good sleep in a large bed. The service was great here. Had free Wi-Fi throughout the property.

The rooftop terrace provides ample space for sunbathing, complete with fine views perfect for enjoying a bottle of local wine at sunset. The room featured a generous seating area and a spacious bathroom with double wash basins, ensuring comfort after navigating the bustling medina.
The old doors in the room let in some noise from other guests, which may be a concern for light sleepers. Finding the place can be a hassle without proper directions, as some taxis might drop you off quite a distance away.

Greatly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was savoury, magnificent views, amazing location just next door to the ramparts of the old town next to the souks and central square. The room we had included central heating and a private safe. The beds were large in the spacious bedroom. Everyone was thoughtful and efficient🙂👌

An oasis of calm in chaos
Riad Matham is a beautiful haven amidst the hustle of the Medina. Especially Hicham. Every morning began with a good breakfast in the serene common area, where fresh pastries and an array of Moroccan delights awaited us. The rooftop terrace, adorned with comfortable seating, provided a perfect spot for soaking in the sunset while sipping on mint tea. The proximity to the bustling souks means you can easily immerse yourself in local culture. It seemed like home.
As much as we relished our stay, we did wish to dine at the Riad for dinner, which wasn't possible during our short visit. It would have added to our overall experience not to miss out on what I heard was a fantastic dinner.

Riad Matham is a gem in the Medina. The room was beautifully decorated, and I loved the high ceilings with an airy feel. Breakfast was fantastic with a changing menu that kept it interesting. Having it in the lovely courtyard surrounded by greenery was a real delight. Hicham, my host, was kind. He provided directions, made exploring the Medina much easier. The rooftop terrace offered fine views-perfect for evening relaxation with a drink. Navigating the narrow lanes to find the Riad was a challenge, especially without precise directions. I faced some noise issues. Sounds from the adjacent rooms could be heard quite clearly. It would have been great if the rooms had better soundproofing. Riad Matham captured my heart with its charm and attentive service, but some improvements could enhance the experience further.

The gorgeous decor throughout created an inviting atmosphere. Breakfasts featured an excellent variety of fresh pastries, and the rooftop terrace provided a fine backdrop for relaxation. There was limited dining availability in the evenings, and some staff members, though generally friendly, overlooked certain requests at times. Navigating the tight spaces of the riad could also pose a challenge.

The riad has a lovely rooftop for chilling, and the traditional Moroccan breakfast was a hit. We also visited the House of Photography and the bustling souks nearby, super close to the location. The staff were super friendly, offering helpful tips on where to go and what to eat. Make sure to take a dip in the plunge pool!
It was a bit spotty at times, but we were mostly out and about enjoying the sights, so it didn't ruin our experience.

The Riad's historical charm is palpable, with beautifully styled rooms and a picturesque rooftop terrace offering splendid city views. Staff were attentive, offering invaluable advice on local attractions. A downside was the difficulty in navigating the medina, as directions can be unclear for first-timers.
